Dopamine and potential both overharvested,
For a nightmare within a dream,

Echoes back predictions made,
For relentless demise.

I can't keep living like this.
Hoarding humiliation,
Stacking scars high.

A ceaseless state of decay
Greywashes in plain sight.
I deny it like a mother,
holding her miscarriage tight.

I used to think these symptoms were going to go away.
It's become a part of me,
A self I can't separate.

Maybe if I just keep pretending that this is fine,
My sad excuse for a spine,
Will finally realign.

The decrepit.

And there'd be less to read,

Or talk to police when I'm gone,
For good.
